1. Types of visa and documents required when applying for a visa

Visa application documentation is accepted only from citizens of the Russian Federation who applies for a short- term visa. More detailed information about procedures for Latvia visa application and requirements imposed on submitted documentation are listed in web page of the Embassy.

Attention!

Visa applications are considered by Embassy during the period of 10 days. The Embassy of Latvia has the right to increase the period of consideration till 30 days. At refusal of issue of visa to the applicant, the reason of refusal is not underlined, according to the Immigration Law of Latvia, but the applicant has a right to submit the repeated application on reception of the visa. If the Embassy of Latvia in Moscow will find necessary carrying out of interview, the applicant will be notified by Embassy on its date in written form.

3. Payment

The Payment of visa takings for consideration of applications is made in a day of submission of applications in roubles at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation at the date of payment.

For the additional charges connected with reception, converting in euro and transfer of money resources of the Client to the settlement account of Embassy, the service taking at a rate of 100 roubles is raised.

The tariff for PONY EXPRESS services without dependence of delivery place within the Russian Federation is 1300 roubles.
